I have having a problem. I am using the stable VR.

Yes, I am running GTA as admin. It crashes after 'LOADING...STORY COMpLETE' I think thats what it was.

1.I tried un-installing the mod and GTA started working again.

Lemme make sure I am understanding this right...you load up the game.....It gets to story complete.....then crashes yes?

Yes, plays the gta music for few seconds the image things, then it goes to the black screen when it says loading story, and then it crashes after few seconds.

It could be a problem with the save game, do you know where they are located?

Nope tried loading it without the mod, it works fine ;') edit: Just saw your edit. Yes I know where are the save games are located.

then you have a bad mod or the game just doesn't like you at the ending with mods. Install mods one at a time, and see what kills the game

Its a fresh GTA IV install ;') I have one mod only the FR mod.

That is correct.

I deleted dsound.dll and ran the game as admin.

Now its suck on LOADING --- STORY COMpLETE being waiting for 10 mins now lol

then you have a messed up save game judging by your story here...you can try moving the save game from it's location

c:/users/(your user account)/appdata/local/rockstar games/GTA iv/savegames and moving the games out and testing it

Have you used the Diagnostics tool? The report you have above doesn't help as much as the Diagnostics tool.

@Asuna tried that useless. As I said before :D it works fine without the mod.

So what happens when you put in dsound? Does it work?

Edit: (After reading your edited post). Try a different ASI loader, like xliveless. It will block online, but it's better than not being able to run LCPDFR at all.

Also, make sure you don't have two different ASI loders in your game directory at the same time, as that may cause problems.

Hold on! Don't give up just yet. First we have to find the problem, find out how we can fix it, and then search for any other possibilities.

It's very rare to not fix something on this site, there are alot of experienced members that will help you out and get to the bottom of this.

Well I am reinstalling my GTA now. Because it stopped starting for some reason.

Yeaaa that looks about right, but didnt you say you deleted Dsound? tahts an ASI loader
