I'm working on converting this 2000-2005 Chevy Impala 9C1 and I plan to rework the model to enhance the quality to GTA V standards.

That looks pretty damn hot :) You should contact OfficerFive0 for some interior equipment. This is just too nice to pass up on. :D

I added another classic LAPD car that I hope to release soon and the LAPD van will be ready when I added some interior parts and see if I can get steady burns and TA lights.

Due to the recent attack on all people who make GTA more fun to play by Take-Two Interactive I'm trying to push out my models before they try anything else, I plan to release my 96 VSP CVPI by tomorrow.

Are you still working on this?    I LOVE the texture and that light bar.

I need donations to help fund my food addiction. DM for details 😂

I think carcols.ymt based coronas could work better for halogen lights, they look too much like modern LED lights with the sudden on-off light effect that emissives have imo.

I used the carcols.ymt file from Lundy's San Diego County ELS Caprice, then I added the corona enhancement, made by Lundy as well, and so I made up the CHP 1980s setup. The 2 red and blue steady lights at the end are coronas, so not rotary lights. That's why they have a different emissive.

For who wants to know, it's based off what a former CHP officer stated about this stuff.

Damn, so many nice cars in this thread and in your WIP pictures. My question is why you never released them.  I mean, you ended working on them in June of last year (atleast I think so).

Ah, I see. Still, what happened with the older CVPIs and Caprices in the CHP layout?

Since I really don't use LCPDFR.com as much anymore I made a discord channel to show my progress and allow people to be involved with the development of my models, If you're interested in my models I suggest joining https://discord.gg/RCsqE4c

Is this ELS? If so, is this out for the public?
