New to installing mods, and apparently not very good at it....  

Downloaded the manual pack, copied over all the files as instructed.  Also downloaded the Rage Plugin and updated Microsoft Net.  Been fighting with this thing for a couple hours now and the Rage Plugin continues to crash when I try to install the game?

Any help you guys could give would be greatly appreciated?

Unblock your files before copying them to your directory (Unblock your RPH and LSPDFR files)

if you don't know how to do this option or add it .. so open this link

 

Thanks, I actually already tried that (manually went thru each one of them to make sure none were missed) and unblocked them all.

I've done all the basic things that were listed in the general help thread.  I just re-downloaded GTA V yesterday to make sure I had the most current version of the game.

Scratching my head at this point on what to do?

Also, if anyone has a good connection over at the Rage Plugin Site that could help me, that would be great.  Their forum will not let me post as a new member.

Firstly you don't need to re-install your game cuz you just could to repair your files only and this is good to fix your problem so i recommend to don't re-install the game,your screen shot doesn't work i can't see anything try to take screenshot and click on choose files . 

 

Secondly try to un-install your RPH and your LSPDFR (Full Clean uninstall) start over and unblock them properly including exe and .dll files and don't miss LSPD first respons.dll in your plugins folder then run your game as administrator if you still having the same issue so try to open your game then open your RPH but i suggest to open it when you are in the story mode game play .

Tried all of the above, same issue still.  Won't open Rage Plugin.  Try the attached, (I put it in PDF this time).  I don't have a screen shot capture tool on this PC.

Things I've tried:

1. Unblocking all files
2. turning off anti-virus (Avast)
3. Un-installing and re-installing several times
4. DL'ing all required software on Rage Hook Site
5. Running from GTA V in story mode

  • downloaded and installed latest version of LSPDFR 0.3.1.  downloaded and installed the latest version of RagePluginHook 0.42

  • After installation and unblocking files, when I run RagePluginHOOK.exe as administrator, I get the message "Rage Plugin Hook has stopped working"

  • Not sure where this is located? If this is something I would see after the game starts, it's probably why I'm not seeing it

Up and running now, script hook did it.  Thanks again for the help!

AWESOME MOD!  Will play around with the base mod for awhile before installing new cars.
