Forum for Praise of modders:

Featured Replies

Just came across the idea of maybe having a Praise forum for modders who help out the community. Maybe have each topic a User's name and then other members could reply within it of their praise or give thanks.

Just an idea.

You can leave a message on a person's profile which other people can see I believe.

Not sure if a whole forum is really necessary or a good idea, it probably would end up with people posting praise and for support on them instead since most people /= smart.

It's great to give modders praise, but even mod reviews are abused. I can't imagine a forum for this would be any different.

I don't see how this would be implemented. The moderation alone seems quite the nightmare to me. And how would we decide who gets a topic and who not?

Perhaps, rather than Thero's idea of a dedicated forum, maybe another tab on the Profile next to Activity, About Me, Albums, put a Wall of Praise or something to that effect?

Then to further cut moderation we can have the person themselves allow/deny a praise post?

We already have that, it's called status updates. You can post on other peoples profile, even!

I know, I was the one who pointed that out to Thero. Just throwing that out there as an idea to further his thought.
