Installing RPF Mods using mod manager

Featured Replies

Hi Guys, New user here.

I've been able to install some rpf car mods using the mod manager and openiv but I'm having the following issues that I hope someone can help:

1) How to install vehicle mods (replace) using mod manager that require .meta files? If I mod the rpf vehicle file in mod manager, how do I also mod the meta file using mod manager and have it work. Mod manager doesn't give the option to use 2 rpf files for one vehicle when using the 'import modded rpf' tab (Hope I explained that well enough to understand). I looked everywhere for a video on it but cant seem to find one for mod manager using the meta files. Seems like most vehicles don't work without it, unless I'm wrong.

2) How install mod vehicles (addon) using mod manager and openiv? Pretty much same as above but adding a vehicle instead of replacing one.

3) Is there an easier way to do it not using the mod manager and still have access to online?

Thanks in advance for the help!

I apologize to dig up an old thread, but oh my, would a mods manager be great.

I installed 3 packs of vehicles, and each one of them replaced cars and also added cars as well.  We're talking for the full lineup of police, sheriff, fbi, tow truck, flat bed, fire truck, coroner, and ambulance.  About 30 vehicles in total give or take.

Now I'm wanting to change one or two of them but these packs have the handling and carvariations file all correct.  If I'm going to be just changing one vehicle it is always such a nightmare to change the carvariations and handling files appropriately that I never do it.  There has to be a better way for someone like myself who uses OPENIV and a MODS folder for LSPDFR in GTAV.
