Hi.

I am thoroughly enjoying my modded GTAV as a Police Officer with LCPDFR and the many suggested mods. Its great and i do enjoy playing immersively.

One thing though that i cant seem to find or use is any kind of interactive player home. Obviously in the default game you play as Trevor etc and get a player home with interactive wardrobe and other items in that house and i see all sorts of mods for the interiors of these. But as a custom police officer i cant use them the same way, much like i frustratingly cant spend any in-game money on food from stores etc as the game doesn't recognise my officer and i guess only responds to the main default characters. 

Has anyone else found or know of a player home ideally with some interior interaction that i can use as a home for my own officer? Maybe a mod thats a player home? or a MOD that unlocks one of the main default characters homes?

It would add to my immersion to have a kind of home base. Also is it possible to save vehicles that will always be there when i load a save via a game through RAGE and LCPDFR?

I have this weird thing that when i load my game i see my custom officer for a moment then it switches me to Trevor. I think have to load my officer via my EPU Menu ( character/wardrobe). Also when i die in the game as an officer on death it switches me again to Trevor. I always save my game via my mobile phone and the quick save but it never loads the officer. Is that normal?

oooooo thank you Scarlet. I just took a peek at that. A few things on that MOD i am not sure of, It seems to suggest you have to buy them to use them yet being a police officer we dont have access to in-game money. How does that work? Will the MOD just let me have the apartments anyways? Also do you know if they are interactive for a custom officer or maybe only for Trevor etc? Looks amazing though :) Thank you.

Look up the Open All Interiors mod, or use Simple Native Trainer to open up interiors. Will get you access to any building on the map that has a modeled interior. 

It's worth mentioning that it is not recommended to save your game with mods running though, as it could screw up your savegame.

But how do i turn off all my mods that i use just to save any progress? I have so many callout mods and vehcile mods and texture and general mods all running that i honestly could never turn them all off properly. Surely some mods would always be running if i have modded my GTA5 and only play it from a LCPDFR perspective? I dont play the main game at all. I havent got any interest in playing as trevor etc.

I save it so that i am at least always at the same part of the map that i love to patrol and go on duty at, as a sheriff at Blain county. I also wish to save any progress of my police duties like the court system in the LCPDFR+.

Its just a shame that there are not some simple small apartments in that north Blain county area with a bed you can save at, a parking lot/garage you can save your own personal vehicle at too. It seem as soon as i get into any vehicle, the previous car vanishes. The game doesnt seem to save any vehicles. :(

i installed the open all interiors mod and its very cool and allows for access to a lot more places. But i still cant find any apartment where i can either save progress/ change clothes/save a car in a garage or lot or interact with the TV, wine, food etc. I often feel like some kind of ghost in GTA5 as a LCPDFR officer. I know this sounds silly but i want some immersion where i can also enjoy the GTA world off duty as well as on. have a base/home i can go back to. I really love the apartment close to the beach. Its small and ideal but again nothing works in it and the space that you can save a vehicle in in the main story game, wont work at all in RAGE/LCDPFR. :(

There is no point in saving your police progress, as there isn't any real progress in anything except LSPDFR+, which saves its court stuff automatically to a file in the plugins folder.

As for the patrolling, you can use a trainer to teleport around the map.

If you do feel the need to save the game, make sure you are no longer on duty, and are not using any other ped than the main game characters, then you should be fine.

OK thank you so much Super. that is very constructive helpful advise. i will do that. It seems to load one of the main characters anyway when i start the game, just before i load up though EPU one of my police characters, as well as when i die. It then loads a main character as well. AT first i thought maybe my game was broke but i guess its GTA5's way of coping with the 'overlay' of the custom MODS. Thanks again :)
