Takedowns don't need to be implemented anymore

Featured Replies

Hey team,

I'm loving everything you guys have put in this mod and all the different vehicles and plugins, however one suggestion for future versions...the takedowns.

As it goes it takes quite a bit of time and usually ensues a foot pursuit to catch someone running from an officer who's discharged their weapon to attempt to apprehend a suspect.  Real life a suspect would surely not be running from police or law enforcement with a weapon pointed at them, I think the old way of usually one click would work better and would like to see that come back.  I remember when I first saw takedowns going to be implemented and thought almost a restraint maneuver to take a suspect down, but this method it takes too long to make an arrest.  The handcuff animation is right on and is absolutely great... but please consider removing this version of taking a suspect into custody.

Best of luck team, look forward to future updates....

Believe me, if they want to run, they run, even if that means to be shot in the back! =o

I too would like a one click/tap takedown. Or maybe one click to issue a warning, and then it's random whether or not they keep running. When I'm in a pursuit, it's sometimes difficult for me to keep them in range or in my line of sight for the takedown function.
