My god sir, you are a life saver!! I thought one of my texture mods messed up the game to hell but that didnt make any sense and behold you helped perfectly! Thank you

So i tried everything to get the rage hook to work and nothing. i tried about everything on this page and more. tried deleting all mods and rage hook and redownloaded everything and still not working. i have the steam version so i even tried verifying my game. everything works in the beginning but as soon as i try to launch the game, rage hook says launcher exited unexpectedly. my game will still launch just without using rage hook. i don't know if my trainer is interfering with anything but it works fine. tried running everything on administrated too. nothing seems to work. if someone can help me out, it'd be much appreciated. 

I just got my first gaming PC and I too am having the same problem, GTA Launcher Exits unexpectedly but the game still launches, just without mods. I have literally no mods installed besides the necessary LSPDFR files and the Rage Plugin. Have tried the above steps and still nothing. Really frustrating. Any help is appreciated, thanks and Merry Christmas!

Same here mate I tried installing it automatically last night, I got fed up and installed it manually. Thankfully it has now worked! I would recommend if you have not tried installing it manually to install it manually. Keep me updated pal, I'll try help you further if that solution does not work!

I've had this problem basically since I started playing LSPDFR over a year ago. If it gives you the message, let the game load into the main menu and then load RPH. Once it's hoooked, just hit story mode and it should function like normal. I've been doing it for over a year, and I haven't noticed any differences in performance or anything.

I found the fix for that, before you start the ragepluginhook you need to start your normal GTA V after the loading is finished in the luncher and the window dissapears you'll need to start the ragepluginhook then it will skip the part and load.
