what do I copy from the Aussie Flash Patterns carcols if I want to have the aus pattern but improved lighting pattern environmental lights and other light/visual settings?

Installed ILP. didn't fix.

Interestingly enough, happens at night too. The only normal car so far is FIB, but the grille lights are weird, they look always on... The rest have those pale orange and blue lights including the fire truck. 

Rotators on the cruiser are all blue, I assume that's something Improved Lighting Patterns does, being British I suppose.

I think I'll just have to give it all the skip and back with default visuals and RadianceV... It's a shame because I really like what these visual mods do to car reflections and weather, makes it real immersive.

Why don't you just use a visual mod (mvga, VisualV etc) Then edit the visualsettings to increase the lights?

the stock cars have always had washed out lights and yes, the fib lights are supposed to remain on all the time. other than that, the lights look great

are they really meant to be washed out like that? it really has been a long time since I've used them - and I've never before used them while having visual mods going.

Some of the stock gta cars have washed out lights, the stock FIB buffalos' grill lights have emissive glass for some reason. You're game looks fine.
