Oh hey I didn't know that Victorian fire trucks used those rotator lights, that's pretty neat (even though they're kinda ugly). What's with the rear end of those trucks though? Looks to sit lower than the roof of the cab, where as NSWFR trucks rear thingo sits level with the cabin roof, looks weird as.

The new rotator lights are some of the brightest and most awesome I've seen. I love them. ACT went to little LED bars but seems to have gone back to the rotators.

Also, whoever was asking, no, VICPol don't use iLoads which is fantastic cause I can't stand the vans (VW, iLoad, etc). Ugly as and horrible to drive and use. The utes with the pods are nice and the VICPol cages are just sexy... more practical too!

Agreed. Not that I ever want to sit in the back of a chlorine flushed divvy van.

Are crap. How are they powered by a 2.0 petrol. I may be wrong.

Possibly, but they obviously weren't designed for pursuit driving. More so a transport vehicle. In Queensland we don't really need them to be high powered as there's a no pursuit policy anyways.

iLoads are cheap and nasty, mostly just cheap, and I'm willing to bet that was the major factor in the decision to use them in NSW. Gotta save them dollarydoos.

That's really cool, well done there. Good to hear also that they were cool about it and didn't pull any crap about infringing their copyright.

No point, the Aurion HWP cars aren't keeping up with much haha

I've done a bit of research and unless the person driving is more of a risk to public safety (ie. threats to kill and having the means to carry it out or potential homicide) than the potential injury caused by a police pursuit, they are not justified. So i'll rephrase my comment and say 'strict pursuit policy'. A police pursuit is very rare in Queensland because officers fear being prosecuted for pursuing a vehicle without justification. It's unfortunate that's the case, but ah well.

We don't do pursuits often, but when we do...

" Last week, controversial police officer Senior Sergeant Chris Hurley and colleague Senior Constable Barry Wellington were stood down over a police pursuit in which they allegedly opened fire on a vehicle containing an accused Bonnie and Clyde-style crime couple police claim were wanted for offences including the violent tomahawk bashing and robbery of a taxi driver. Yeah,

Thats exactly what I was referring to when I said officers fear being prosecuted. Really disappointing.

Cops down here have a habit of shooting at cars to get them to stop too. One near me the officer fired 3 shots and 2 of them hit the car's tire, which is pretty damn good if you ask me

are you sure it wasn't GTA V in real life

@MooseYTY is it possible to have the Ford's Back Window Banner tethered to certain repaints at all? As well as adding the back window banner to the Commodore? So each car can have its safety message match the back window?
