b. @AussieChaos you're making the fire truck right?  I took this image surpriced that it had LED strips on the top corners of the back or brake lights and indicators.Maybe if that isn't already in your model maybe you could try to make it. Not toomuch of a big deal, but yeah you get my point.

@AussieGamer1 is making the fire truck, but it's a NSW one not a Victorian one so it won't have those.

Make sure that they have the right names before you import them to OpenIV, for whatever reason renaming them in the texture browser doesn't work in game...

 

I've updated my Territory pack, the rear part of the ambulance skin is now 100% accurate.

You may need to do some shit in the carvariations file to add more liveries.

What's the location for the carvar with the police cars in it? Can't find it, only carvars with the jester and slamvan etc, and some carvars in the patchdays with DLC cars in it.

The original is encrypted, there was a thread floating around somewhere (lcpdfr?) with info on how to alter it. You'll need to create a new line for each vehicle in one of the DLC carvars though.

@Pageup @PgUp I fixed police 3 and Firetruck here, you add the stuff thats missing, copy one  entry in there, paste it change names and details to what you need make a back up first

Tried changing window tint in simple trainer, can't set a number but can change it through all the options in the vehicle mod menu. I noticed that changing it to stock got rid of the weird grey texture and made it all black, but yeah.. It's still all black.

Number? All you need to do is scroll down to window tint in the mods option and change the setting to 'none', stock will keep it the way it spawned.

Mines the same, went to the tint option set it to none with no change seen.

It's partly my fault on the models end but you can fix it in the vehicles.meta, of the top of my head it's called something like tiny defuse or something just copy the one on police and paste it in the car you are using when I get time I'll try update my older models

No none option for me, I feel like stock = no tint, it started off on a darker tint. I wasn't really looking at the menu just flicked through the options while looking at the light bar, remained black the whole time flicking through. But as Moose said, can fix it in vehicles.meta

also anyone noticed that vehicles.meta is a fussy bitch? Replaced a vehicle line for XR6 I think it was? Crashed my game

XML uses a specific schema, when you make changes use an XML validator to ensure you haven't broken any tags. If it passes the validator but still crashes your game, then there's an issue with one the setting in the line.
