Navigate to mods > update.rpf > levels > x64 > dlcpacks > patchday3ng > dlc.rpf > x64 > levels > gta5 > vehicles > chuck the model in there

Preview of my aussie flash patterns sirensetting that I've been working on

 

I'll hopefully be releasing it sometime over the next few days but it's more use for vehicle modders at the moment, rather than the general public. I've tested that my current unmarked models should have the basics working already, but my highway patrol cars (which means moose's too, because he's using my lightbar) aren't optimized for it yet. They'll all be updated eventually as well as all future cars having them.

I also think it's a good idea for vehicle modders to use this as opposed to making their own. Because if everyone made their own it would be hell for users to install the models and the correct lighting systems properly.

Yeah, i do, but only to enjoy my GTA IV mods that i have made so far and NO they wont be released at all

I didn't realise I needed this until I saw it in action. Infinitely improves the wee woo's flashing lights. 

Q1: This video reminded me because everyone seems to use 'Very Bright' for RadianceV, for me that's too bright but 'Bright' is too dull, any way to edit something to get a sweet spot between the two? 

Q2: Would it be possible in the future to have messages flash on the LED panel on the HWP light bars? ie cycle through "RANDOM > BREATH > TESTING" among  others. 

Could it be done using anything we have at our disposal now or is this more of a question for ELS V devs?..

At this rate, no unfortunately. it's 90% the same as the default lighting system, the only difference being the actual pattern. So there's only one button that turns all the lights on or off. If I wanted I could put aside 3 sirens as messageboard sirens, although they'd always be flashing whenever the lights are on, and i'd rather they didn't flash at all rather than that.

So you're saying we could have it, but there'd be no control of it.

So in that case would it be possible to have it say "POLICE" on the message board when the lights come on and leave event specific messages like "Road Closed" and "Random Breath Testing" out  until (or if) a time comes we can control it? 

Edit: I never played GTA IV on the PC, did ELS for IV give you control over the message board?

it was directed to AussieGaming and i was stating that my mods would never get released for GTA IV as they are private/clan based mods, unless i was to have a copy of Zmod 3 where i could look at making some mods for Private use in GTA V, but then i would have to look into converting models to gta v

What's the point of telling him in the first place, if it isn't going to be released? PM him if you really need to let him know.
