What...I don't know where you got your info from but the Lotus was never going to be a car, nor will be the Mustang, atleast not in the very near future

The Lotus was never going to be a fleet car, too expensive and impractical. It was donated as a community car to try and deter speeding and reckless driving. Also, there is a chance that the mustang will not be used if a better 4 door sedan can be substituted.

 

The Lotus Exige, a lightweight, high performance car will be used by Bankstown Local Area Command for a number of community policing roles over the next six months, including most importantly, helping to build better relations between police and local performance car enthusiasts and youth.

I was on a GTX 960 previously... was also balking at the price, but the Mrs decided since my channel was steadily making progress to surprise me with an upgrade lol

Only went with the AMD cpu cause the cpu/mobo combination was about $400 cheaper than going all intel. The stock cooler was a piece of shit, and I suspect I may have a bit of heat damage to the chip because of it, but overall it runs well now that I've got it properly cooled.

I've got AMD as well - It was a cheaper alternative at the time of building my PC, but i've always had a custom cooler on it. I'm hoping to upgrade to Skylake and at some point get a new graphics card soon.

I'm edging towards i5 6600K and possibly a RX 480 8GB, but it's hard to tell how it actually goes because of the shitfight between the fanboys. Releasing the RX 4xx and the GTX 10xx series so close together was a fucking horrible decision from a consumer trying to find real info view. Even every video review on YT seems to tip differently to each side, one video has the RX better, the next has the 1060 on top..

From what I can basically gather, the chain of gaming horsepower now goes (descending)

1080 > 980Ti > 1070 > 1060 (VERY marginally with the RX) > RX 480 (marginally with the R9)> R9 390X >GTX 980 > 970 etc

AMD seem to be better for the dollars, 1060 is the same price but no SLi among other cons compared to RX, and I'm abit ... Ehhhhh about dropping $650-700 on a card

@Darkmyre @SkillfulCorpse Don't suppose you guys bought ArmA 3 in the last sale, I'm interested to see how that goes on the AMD CPUs, one combined with a real good card and one with a more dated, good but not as good card, it's meant to be a real CPU heavy game.

Had Arma3 for a while, I dont have Apex but from memory I was able to run it at 60fps without any issues, at max graphics. Haven't played much of it ever (not even sure now why I originally bought it lol) so thats just some basic testing (and I think it had a benchmark option too but cant recall atm)

Moose is making a proper NSW Police bearcat, but for now i've put the skin on Cosmo's one.

And also I don't have ARMA 3.

Arma 3 is a pile of poop for me. Honest to god my laptop ran it better than my PC does. I barely manage 20fps with everything on medium/low

I love the old NSW Cars like 2005-2008 but yeah I love the VY and old XR6 Turbo

 

And LCPDFR.com is back online, after being dead for about 5-6hours ahaha 

It's unlikely the mustang will become a HWY patrol car because, the cops do need the 4 doors. 2 doors will be just too impractical for them. I personally think they will use the ford Mondeo or something else like a Kia or Mazda
