In the correct terminology, The New South Wales Police Force use multiple cars for multiple reasons, there for the dog squad use the fg utes and the hilux's along with ford rangers and Holden Colorado's for four wheel driving and other purpose's. In saying that the fg utes are more common in city area's and the bigger Ute's eg the hilux in rural area's because they have more of a purpose out there.

Pretty sure down here across the border we use one of the four wheel drives, I've never seen it though.

And does anyone know what URA stands for on a nsw car? I saw a nissan patrol with URA on it's bonnet this afternoon
