LATEST Script Hook V (for 757.4) still crashes game on loading

Featured Replies

Hey guys, I just got the latest script hook V from dev-c and it says it supports 757.4. However, when I try to load up my game (From RPH, latest version), it still crashes on the loading screen with the character slideshow. However. It works perfectly fine without the script hook in. I was wondering if anyone knew the latest news?

I'm assuming you use the OpenIV 'mods folder' feature.  If so, open up your update.rpf in OpenIV and hit the 'edit' button and it should give you a prompt at the top to re-copy the new update.rpf.  All you have to do to fix it it hit the button it prompts you to.  That should fix the crashing problem, however, I can't get the new ScripthookV to load any of my ASIs...at least not the openiv.asi that allows the mods folder.

This did the trick for me. I'm not sure what ASI's are, but my mods all appear to be working. This stopped the crashing when loading GTA
