OpenIV mod installs

So, most mods car mods, gun mods, sound mods, whatever, say to put the files in folders like patchday4ng and other dlc

acks folders. Some though, tell you to use x64e.rpf. Is there an explanation behind this? X64e.rpf seems to have every vehicle in it, so is it ok to just install all mods there so I don't have to remember which dlcpacks folders I used for different vehicles? Or is there a more specific reason for using these folders? Thanks!

When Rockstar comes out with an update for GTA online they just create a new folder in the update folder and any updates that are made are put in it and it overwrites any in the previous folders or X64E folder.

If you notice if you put say Police2 vehicle model in x64e and not in the updated folder with it in there it will not change at all in game because of this.
