GTA V Mods Issue (Update.rpf)

Featured Replies

I've been downloading some mods lately and have been having some issues that just seemed to randomly appear and I'm not quite sure what is going on. I was hoping you guys can help me out, and hopefully this is in the right place!

Recently, while using OpenIV to install my mods into the correct place in my GTA V folder, I noticed I was randomly missing folders in my update.rpf for example. I just noticed this a few days ago. I've been installing all mods into my "Mods" folder, and used to have all the dlc packs listed, now I seem to be missing quite a few and I don't know why.

This is what I see <------ I'm not sure what happened to the other folders. I still seem to have vehicle mods that were located within those folders even, but can't install any others since...those folders are magically gone!

Hopefully you can help me out! I appreciate it and thank you in advance.

So it looks like you're here: mods/update/update.rpf/dlc_patch

But are you actually trying to get to this one: mods/update/x64/dlcpacks ?

What a simple mistake I kept making! Thank you for clearing that up for me. I appreciate it.

No problem, I've done the same thing many times.

To make sure all files are at the right location, instead of creating the folders yourself and moving the files afterwards, just go to the original .rpf archive you want, right click on it and click on "Copy to 'Mods' folder", it'll create the correct path automatically.
