So I've downloaded both of KevinDV's Lenco Bearcats and tried to make a skin for them using the template that it comes with however when I open the template in Photoshop the background layer (the template) is locked and it prevents me from making new layers. I have tried unlocking the layer but haven't had any luck. Has anyone else run into this problem or know how to fix it? Thanks.

weird, i've never had that problem, could be photoshop, i use Paint.NET

Go to Image> Mode and select RGB color.Its alright cuz the image was in Index mode,you see.

Image > Mode > RGB Color

Double click "Background" layer > Hit "OK" on the "New Layer" dialog

Edit: Dhruv beat me, damn slow to launch Photoshop!

Haha, never done it that way. Sorta did it a manual way, by copying and pasting the image into a new Document.
