LSPDFR + GTA 5 hard crashing?

Featured Replies

Hello,

Today when trying to play, LSPDFR crashed.  Reloaded it, got into a pursuit, and the game hard crashed.  Opened it again, got myself back on duty, and the same thing happened.  Only this time, the game didn't crash until I tried to hit the fleeing vehicle.    The only mod I added in recently was a standalone Police Gauntlet (which I was using at the time), however, I don't think this should be causing me any issues since it was LSPDFR that crashed as well.

I've attached the crash report, along with RPH.

Hello there - Welcome, and thanks for trying out LSPDFR. We require all members to read the provided ReadMe and User Documentation before getting support. Please keep in mind that this is a beta version of LSPDFR - we cannot guarantee that all issues have been resolved.

You can find the user manual in your LSPDFR Download folder. If you still have questions after reading the User Documentation, review the LSPDFR FAQ; http://www.lcpdfr.com/forums/topic/51162-lspdfr-frequently-asked-questions/.

Ensure you have a folder titled "LSPDFR" and "plugins" in your root directory.

  • The plugins folder should contain the following;
    • LSPD First Response.dll
    • A folder titled "LSPDFR"

Ensure that you are running a supported version of LSPDFR. As of 2016-02-22 ONLY LSPDFR 0.3.1 is supported - No LSPDFR 0.2 plugins are supported for LSPDFR 0.3.1 unless otherwise stated

Make sure you have the latest RagePluginHook (LSPDFR 0.3.1 includes RPH 36): http://ragepluginhook.net/

Please do so now and return to this topic when this is done and do the following;

  • Give a clear, detailed description of the problem.
  • Explain any circumstances surrounding the problem.
  • State what solutions you have tried.
  • State which version of the game you're using (Steam or Retail)
  • Post the RagePluginHook.log in a spoiler tag (Please be courteous and only include the relevant information).
  • Include as much information as possible.
  • Post your system specifications. You need to meet the required system specifications for the mod to work properly.
  • Post what other mods you are using.
  • Post a screenshot of your GTA V Game directory.

Failure to follow these instructions may result in topic closure.

If you want to me reply as soon as possible, then either quote or @CouthInk4  me as i'll be notified, a general reply will not notify me

Ummmm, care to explain to me in human form, not automatic response, what I've done wrong?  I gave a clear description of the problem, and said what I was doing at the time.  I can include screenshots of the directory if needed, but I've already provided the crash reports, which should help you guys.

Possibly a modded vehicle issue, but a modded vehicle shouldn't cause LSPDFR to crash as well.

  • State what solutions you have tried.

None.  Posted straight here to get an opinion.

  • State which version of the game you're using (Steam or Retail)

Steam

  • Post the RagePluginHook.log in a spoiler tag (Please be courteous and only include the relevant information).

Done, except it's an attachment in my first post.

  • Include as much information as possible.

Included all the information I'm able to.

  • Post your system specifications. You need to meet the required system specifications for the mod to work properly.

I'm not good on system specs.  SUp9yFU.png

Have you tried removing the vehicle mod?

Does that include removing the vehicles carvariations and vehicles.meta? or just the car files themselves?

I'm seeing some "could not be loaded within a reasonable time" lines in your log. This leads me to suspect your laptop is not suited to be using GTA V, nevermind LSPDFR.

What graphics do you have on this computer? Are they Intel's embedded graphics?

Intel i7, and NVIDIA GeForce.  I wondered if lag/not enough power was the issue.

Removed those and hopped in to test.  For a while I only used LSPDFR and the default things that start with it.  Had no issues.  Then slowly started loading other mods and no issues.  Unfortunately I had to go so couldn't spent an hour or so testing.

Are you confirming that lag, or not enough memory for GTA is what could be causing it?
