Hello all,

Whenever I try to start up GTA 4 with LCPDFR installed, it crashes after I log into my Microsoft account. According to the diagnostics tool, the ScriptHookDotNet is okay, along with the system and LCPDFR. I attached a log file to this topic, thank you all for your help.

Hello there -- welcome to LCPDFR.com and thanks for trying out LCPDFR!

Please do the following: 

• Make sure you aren't using a crack - We don't support cracks or people using pirated software
• Update GTA IV to 1.0.7.0 (the latest version of the game, or 1.1.2.0 for EFLC) - These patches are needed.  
• Make sure that you run the game as an administrator.
• Make sure that your GTA IV root folder (and every subdirectory) is not set to "read-only"
• Ensure that AdvancedHook.dll, ScriptHook.dll, ScriptHookDotNet.asi and Dsound.dll OR Xlive.dll are in the GTA IV ROOT folder
• Ensure that there is a folder titled 'LCPDFR' in the ROOT GTA IV folder.
• Check that all the above files exist, if they do not, reinstall LCPDFR with the MANUAL installation.
• Ensure that you are using up to date versions of every LCPDFR dependency and LCPDFR itself.

In some cases, your issue is resolved after following the above steps. If it did help, please let everyone know in the topic that your issue is resolved. If you do have to post a topic, do the following;  

• Give a clear, detailed description of the problem.
• Explain any circumstances surrounding the problem.
• State what solutions you have tried.
• Post ALL relevant logs (LCPDFR.log, Scripthook.log, ScriptHookDotNet.log, AdvancedHook.log).
• Include as much information as possible.
• Post your system specifications.
• Post what other mods you are using. This includes car and script mods.
• Post a screenshot of your GTA IV or EFLC game directory.

now i noticed that you have els installed. did the game including the police mod work before you installed els? some files in scripts like els are older than current LCPDFR update. so basically i am thinking you installed lcpdfr, then installed ELS files like advancedhook, etc that are older than the ones that came with your LCPDFR files. what i would do is uninstall lcpdfr. then re download it to your desktop. then open up your els folders and your LCPDFR folders on the desktop and compare.

if LCPDFR has a newer file than the same one in the ELS folder, then you need to skip installing that file. So, for example, if in your LCPDFR folder there is a file called Apples and Oranges and its dated 4.14.2016 and there is a file called Apples and Oranges in the ELS folder but its dated 3.14.2016, then you simply do not install that particular ELS file. i used to have the exact dates and all that but i haven't done support in a while lol. so if you do not understand what im saying just lemme know and i will be more precise :P
