What can I do to make GTA V run better?

Featured Replies

So right now at times it's slow and at times GTA V runs really good. But my question is, is there anything I can do to make it a lot better?

So far I've used:

- Timecycle lag fix

- Core Parking Manager

Few details about my PC: (IF you need more, ask.)

If sometimes it runs good and sometimes not, regardless of what you're doing, it might be a temperature problem. Check your components temperature when you're playing to see if they are overheating. But it can be that like it can be many other things, it depends on a lot of different stuff.

Sorry for the noobish question, how would I monitor the temperature?

If it's indeed an overheating problem, which isn't sure at all yet, you'll have to open your computer to clean the fans and the dust that has accumulated inside, as a first step. Usually it helps a lot.

Would a fan blowing on my computer work? Or is that not good for it?

Probably Would Help A little but not much, but like @Hystery Said You Might Need To Clean Them. Just wondering, how many exhaust/intake fans do you have?

I'm not sure. Is there a way to check?

FYI to all, according to that processor info OP is using a notebook computer.  Due to the likely compact size of the laptop, overheating will be an issue no matter what if you're trying to play video games on it.
