Problem with blurred buildings/streets

Featured Replies

Anyone having this issue and how to solve it? In the pic you see a blurred building that every couple of seconds it renders correctly and then it becomes blurred again. The same goes with the street when I'm driving around, I see streets getting blurred and then turning back to normal.

What are is your shader setting on? For me when it's on normal the roads look blurry..

Otherwise it could be some sort of memory issue. How many custom vehicles do you have in? Any ENB?

What Texture setting are you on?
How much VRAM does your GPU have?
What GPU do you have?

I'm getting this problem only when I'm on duty

Scratch that it's happening all the time, another example, I need help.

I got Miracle V graphics mod installed.

I'm seeing that when I start my game I don't have problems, then when I go on duty it starts, and if I go off duty later on, it remains. I have no clue what it could be, maybe a plugin?

What plugins do you have then? It seems awful strange for 2 980s to fail playing this game?
What CPU do you have too? And what usage does it go to when the texture popping happens?
Also, try disabling SLI. In some games it causes issues, not sure if it applies to GTA V.

intel core i7-3970X

I didn't have issues before so it must be something else rather than SLI. Maybe it's something related to memory. I also have triple buffering on in the nvidia control panel

Plugins I use:

custom backup, federal callouts, peterUcallouts, policeradio, vocaldispatch, wilderness callouts, agency callouts, arrest manager, assorted callouts, autopursuitbackupdisabler, cleartheway, code3 callouts, code red callouts, news heli pursuit, pursuit on the fly, repeat offender, safer chases, traffic policer,

@LtRob

Is that Miracle of V - World enhancement project?  With reshade and ENB? and the texture packs?

I don't suppose you've tried it without that memory sapping mod.

I was using VisualV before and I had the same issue. The strange thing is it happens only when I go on duty... I checked and it's not triple buffering

Ok, just checking. Didn't play nice on my system at all. I have a modified version of VisualV, but I no longer use Reshade or enb.

Right now I'm using Miracle V with reshade and enb yes, should I try removing reshade and enb?

I always have the same approach on any pc related problem. What is the best thing to narrow down the area of the problem.

Right now, you don't know where the problem is. Until you do, you may end up running around in circles.

I always go back to basic's if my game starts going loopy on me, unless you can remember when it started and remove the last modification.

@Starmix

Again, I'm hijacking, I apologise. I just saw miracle of v and alarm bells rang out.

Ok so I've been testing for the last few days like crazy, many hours a day to make things better. I installed the game from scratch (my mods folder was untouched, I didn't reinstall my mods) in my SSD and still get pop ins: I removed Miracle V and installed VisualV and it ran smooth for 40 minutes and then again blurred streets started to appear, alongside blurred buildings.

Could it be that this texture loss is caused by a ped or vehicle mod? So I would have to check for each one of them to determine the cause?

Did you try and run the game with no add-ons at all? No mods folder, no enb, no Reshade etc.? Just lspdfr. If you did and it's still there, you may have problems outside of the game.

Starmix is correct, you should have no problem running this game with your set up.

Just a thought, but you don't have any manual lod settings in your commandline.txt file do you?

No I have no commandline.

I am gonna try removing mods one by one, since without the mods folder it seems it runs without the pop ins.

If you think it actually cures the problem by removing the mods folder, maybe you should think about starting from scratch with a new mods folder. It could be that there was a conflicting file from either graphic mod and it affected the draw distance and lodscale. There are different ways to achieve draw distance and maybe these were messing your game up somehow.

I would start with all your car mods and get it to where you had it, minus the graphics mod. Make a backup and then put in the graphic mod. At least if it goes loopy again, you won't have to waste time starting from scratch again.

Nevermind, I'm gonna try putting my mods folder back from scratch again, it's gonna take awhile since I'm extremely busy :((
