I'm telling you, my game worked fine yesterday. I didn't add (or fail an attempt at adding) any new vehicles. All of a sudden today, the game refuses to load, it crashes right after the opening credits. Please help me figure this out!

You need to pinpoint whereabouts the problem is, so a couple of things to try.

Do them one at a time.

If you have a mods folder, cut and paste it to another location on your pc. (Using the cut and paste method will remove it from your gta v directory without you losing it and you can paste it back into your gta v directory, should the problem persist). Launch the game with RPH.

Launch the game without loading RPH. (On the steam version, you do this by launching the game through the steam client. As you don't have the steam version, is there a default launcher? I don't know, because I have the steam version).

I've pinpointed it to my mods folder. What should I do now?

I want to use the vehicles I have in my mods folder.

That all depends on you. It also depends on how many game files you modded.

If it were me, I'd start again from scratch with a new mods folder, because unless you know which file is causing the problem, you may end up with the same scenario.

You should install them one by one and check the game is ok, before adding another.

One thing is puzzling though. You say it was fine yesterday and today it isn't without adding anything? How strange.

I have created a new folder.

And yes, I do find it strange how it is suddenly having problems without my adding anything.

You should verify your game files to make sure everything is OK to be on the safe side.
