MacBook Pro, Keyboard, and XBox One Controller

Hi guys,

New here (first post). Have a question. I wanted to play LCPDFR, so I performed all the downloads and installs necessary. I have it working and I am able to arrest, stop pedestrians, ticket cars, etc. The issue I seem to be having is the controls. First thing I noticed was when I was doing a stop, instead of plain old <space>, I had to use the <shift> key as well. OK, no big deal. There were a few other quirky controls that I can't remember off the top of my head.

Moving on to the controller (I am using an XBox One controller) bringing up the menu to call for let's say, a helicopter is difficult, especially in a chase. Also responding to a call using the LB and A will cause my officer to shoot and not take the call.

Just was wondering if this is a common occurrence, or does it have to do with the Mac keyboard. I know I can make changes to the controls for GTA IV, but can you for LCPDFR? If so, can you map for both the keyboard and controller?
