Police cars stuck

Featured Replies

Hi,

Been getting this bug since latest gta update. Whenever im on or off-duty the police cars get stuck in their "spawned" position. They try and move back and forth, but they move only a little bit.

I can hear the engine and the lights are working, but they are just stuck.

Thanks in advance.

Sounds like you have conflicting mods somewhere. Have you got the Safer chases mod (rage edition) or better chases in your scripts folder?

Yes I do have safer chases Rage edition.

I have WSO 3.5 Sound Mod

A Camaro mod

GTA Realism 0.8

Realistic top speeds and handling

and a bunch of lspdfr scripts

Also the ClearTheWayV script. maybe that is causing issues?

I have had these mods before the latest GTA update and everything worked fine.

The latest mod was the camaro mod but i already tried it without that mod.

I also see a CopJam script but it was probably installed automatically by a mod, I'll try and take that out.

GTA Realism didn't install any scripts, cause I don't like those scripts.

Deleting CopJam.dll did not do anything.

Ok, A quick way to determine whether it's a modded game file is to copy your mods folder to another location (As a backup) and then delete the folder from your main gta v directory and run the game. If the issue is still there at least you'll know it's a script or lspdfr mod causing the issue.

Don't delete it before making sure you have it backed up. If the issue is still there, you can simply move the backup mods folder back into the gta v directory.

Did that and it is a script issue. Without mods folder the problem is still there.

Ill try to delete ClearTheWayV.dll

@Tominator08

You could try the same thing with your scripts folder as you did with the mods folder, make a back up and then delete it from your gta v directory.

Also, have you any trainers in your gta v directory?

There have been a few other threads regarding this and there does not seem to be a clear indication of what this is.

It's a case of trial and error I'm afraid.

Thanks for your help!
