LSPDFR folder is not in plugins

Featured Replies

hey so i am really new to lspdfr and i was able to install lspdfr and got it to work, but i know some of the other mods have to go into Plugins/LSPDFR and i do not have a LSPDFR folder in the plugins folder. when i try to create one and put it in the plugins folder non of the .dll files show up in the console in game. anyone have a explanation as to why this is? please have mercy i am very new to both LSPDFR and Forums. Thanks

yeah the problem is that i do not have a LSPDFR folder under the plugins folder, and when i create my own LSPDFR folder under the Plugins folder the mods are no longer recognized. thanks for the quick response i really appreciate the help DCP1293

What do you mean by not recognized? not working in-game? if so post a list of the mods you are trying to add and the RagePluginHook.log file from the main directory of your game (where the .exe files are).

what i mean is no matter what site or forum i go to it says most of the mods for LSPDFR are supposed to be in Plugins/LSPDFR but i do not have this LSPDFR folder under plugins. i have the one that is under the main gtav directory but there is not one in the plugins folder. now some mods work just being in the plugins folder but from my understanding some mods have to be under Plugins/LSPDFR and i do not have that folder. when i make this folder and place it in the plugins folder than place the mods in said folder none of the mods are recognized by the ragehookplugin. Example. when you load ragehook it says which mods are being loaded. when i switch to LSPDFR folder none of the mods load upon startup of ragehook. i hope this makes sense. and i can not copy my files until i get off work in about 4 hours. Once again thanks for the help DCP1293 i really appreciate it.

Plugins placed in the GTA folder/plugins/LSPDFR folder do not show up in RPH as they are loaded by LSPDFR. The only way to find out if they work is by playing and checking if the callouts show up and other functions work.

Mods that go into Plugins\LSPDFR will NOT be recognized by RagePluginHook, but they will load with LSPDFR once you go on duty (select clothing, vehicle, etc..).

i tried loading police radio through the console and of course it did not work like you guys stated and now i know how they are loaded but, when i go on duty and press C the default button to bring up the radio the only thing that happens is my character looks behind. i think my problem is that there is no LSPDFR folder under the Plugins folder and when i create my own and place the mods in that folder nothing works anymore. ( i could be wrong i am new to this and only going off of what i have read online most of it out dated by a couple months)  but im sure once i get home and can actually post what my GTAV main directory and sub folders look like ill be able to get it solved.

i will post a screenshot of how i have it installed once i get home. i assume im just a pleb and have stuff in the wrong area. i got confused when the read me says put into Plugins/LSPDFR because i do not have a LSPDFR folder in plugins and when i create one and put the mods in that folder it does nothing but break the mods that were working like LSPDFR its self. once again thanks for all the help guys i appreciate your time an effort put into trying to get this solved.

so ive been looking around and i think i might have figured it out ( will not know for sure until i get home) when i look at the download page for police radio it says RH37+ i have RH38. could it be that police radio is not compatible with the new ragehook update? sorry for my dumb questions. i am new to modding gta

No, 0.38 is fine for Police Radio. it is likely an issue with the way you have it installed as we have no other reports of this problem. so just to be sure.. you created the LSPDFR folder inside the Plugins folder correct? then placed the Police Radio folder, .ini, and .dll files in that folder right? then go in-game, go on duty with LSPDFR, and then press "C".

If you still have the issue show us the RagePluginHook.log file from the main directory of your game and also show a screenshot of how you have the mod installed.
