Arrest Manager and Police Radio Issues

Featured Replies

Okay, I am new to the modding scene so I apologize if this is a dumb question. I have a different RAR extractor other than Winrar, which i figure should operate the same as any other correct? but I downloaded the Arrest Manager and it did not come with the "plugins" folder or "lspdfr" folder, or "documentation" folder, instead I got all the files by themselves. tried to put them in the plugins folder which did nothing, and tried making an lspdfr folder in the plugins folder and putting everything into that which came up with errors and crashed the game. Yes I am using the folders within the GTAV directory. Also, I tried downloading the Police Radio mod and installing that into the "GTAV/plugins/lspdfr"  folder I made but its just a bunch of individual WAV files and a few txt and PNG files so I think it was supposed to come bundled up a little neater from the initial download. Anyways, I don't use forums often so sorry if this is the wrong place to post this but I would really appreciate a little help because without mods, tasing ppl until cops show up to arrest them gets kind of rediculous. Haha thanks guys.

What kind of extractor are you using? 7-zip works well and is free and open source.

On the download page for each plugin you should see on the right side what the file structure of the archive looks like. If when you extract it, it doesn't look like that, you're doing something wrong.

I use to have this problem and found out it was the unzip software that I was using. I would recommend downloading 7zip and when you download the file again right click on it and select 7zip, extract files, then select the location.
