Adding Cars for Dummies

Featured Replies

So, I'm sure I'm missing something incredibly stupid here, but if someone could help me out I would appreciate it. I'm trying to add a new car - I've called it "Sheriff3", into MPChristmas2. The .ytds are renamed and in the right place, and I'm editing the vehicles and carvariations .metas in the x64>dlcpacks>Mpchristmas>etc. folder. However, after adding (what I thought was) everything to the .metas, I'm CTD'ing at the loading screen.

I've attached my .metas, since I'm pretty sure that's where my problem lies - but, what do I know? I'm totally new to this, so if someone could take a look at them and point out the dumb thing I did, that would be awesome. Alternatively, if they look right, please let me know - maybe something else is going on (although I haven't changed anything else recently).

carvariations.meta

vehicles.meta

Edit: In case it helps, this is the car I'm trying to add.

Added car

Pretty simple; in your carvariations.meta you didn't close the
tag. At the bottom of the sheriff3 entry, below "</colors>" you need to put "
" so it should look like:

</colors>

(police2 and rest of stuff follows)
