  • I agree.Cuz if you miss the callout while you're away eating donuts, you just can't ask the dispatcher to repeat the message back

Extracting audio doesn't cost anything. Open up a scanner for a bit, record, extract, or find videos or whatnot then extract. It's public property.

I am pretty sure that the developers want to keep this mod as close to the game as possible. Meaning the voices/dispatches are originally from GTA IV.

you can always pause and go to mission brief...anyway i think id like to have both so that way if you are in a public place you can mute and still play if i really had to choose i would go with sound....i like the police pursuit mod dispatcher

I was saying that for if there were only sounds and not texts situation

If you listen to the Chicago or NYPD scanners, you get a ton of shootouts. In real life, you hear alot of static, so that adds realism.

Don't they have a lot of channels, though? That would mean you don't get that many of those kinds of calls on a given channel.

If you listen to the scanners around the Bronx you get a lot of assault/suicide/domestic calls, so would probably provide enough suitable sound clips if you wanted to use real life audio for dispatches.

For me personally , i think its would be nice if we can choose whether we want Sound or subtitle/word when playing LCPDFR . such as choose option 1 for sound , option 2 for words/subtitles . and btw i add in another option
