Do you have visual V or Radiance V installed?

Check out my latest mods!

LIFE GETS BETTER THE MORE LIGHTS YOU ADD

That lightbar i think uses GTA's lights, but like BxBuggs's lightbars only use textures i think. So some lightbars will be brighter then others, have you tried some other model and seen if its the same problem? And are you using Bright or Very bright in RadianceV?

Originally before radiance was released, to get the lights to be bright in game, a modeler would have to turn up the emissive multiplier for the vehicle making the lights brighter. The only way unless you can go into zmod3 and turn down the muliplier manually, would be to tone down whatever Radiance changes in your visual settings.

All other models (for example an ambulance, firetruck, and a police interceptor) don't have this problem.. (the vanilla police cars also dont have this problem)

I use Bright

What exactly i have to change in visualsettings.dat to fix that? There are many lines..

The default cars use a mix of coronas and emissive textures, so as a modder, it is very hard to use coronas in the proper way. I don't know what exactly you have to change i the settings, you would have to do some digging to actually see.

if you dont want to mess around with the settings i would suggest making the emissive textures a bit darker

I had something simular so I put Post Effects to lowest settings and fixed my issue with my lighting effects being way too bright...easy fix, might work for you.

I had edit the images which are related to emergency lights.. there are now VERY dark

And this is the result

Left= without edit, to bright

Middle= with edit

Right= a highway patrol car, which had never problems like that..

I think, thats okay, BUT.. in the middle, the yellow still to bright.

I reduced my post settings.. but than every light really looks like crap. all other settings are on very high/high, so i think that will not work for me.
