When I try and open either LSPDFR or Ragehook applications, Win rar comes up with a error saying "There are no files to extract" after I have successfully downloaded both links.

Please update your version of WinRar or use 7zip. 

I've also removed your two other topics regarding the same thing - There is no need to spam the post button. 

This is what comes up and I think my winrar is updated

PS: AM NOT SPAMING THE SAME THING THIS ERROR HAS JUST OCCURED TODAY! AND THIS IS THE ONLY TOPIC I HAVE POSTED REGARDING THIS VERY PROBLEM

Why are you trying to open the program from within WinRar? You need to extract the files. Read the installation instructions.

I am simply trying to move the file(s) from winrar to my desktop and then I want to open it and i have read the installation instructions

Right-click > Extract. No need to open it. Also, make sure you have administrative rights on your machine and RW rights on the folder. 

THAT IS WHAT I AM DOING BUT I COMES UP WITH THAT MESSAGE (THAT MY WHOLE PROBLEM) - and yes have admin rights ticked

so my question is how do i extract it or drag and drop or open it without the error stopping me

No need for capslock. 

Can you try using 7zip instead?

It's a zip tool, not a "downloader". Just install and right click, choose extract.

Did you just even try to see if it was updated? Just uninstall it and reinstall it. At some point I had trouble opening .rar archives or creating them, I just uninstalled WinRar and reinstalled it, and it worked perfectly.
