No breakable windows?

Featured Replies

The windows of my car I'm working on are not breakable. I've added crash to the User-Defined Options (UDO) of the COL and at the Material of the glass. Put it all down below of the material browser.
Still I'm able to shoot through the window of the windscreen (also windows of all the doors). While at the back window the bullet reflects but doesn't shows up any breakable textures.

When you import a model to zm3, files will be created in the folder you imported them from. Move these .cwgv files into the folder you plan to export the model to. Problem solved.

Do your dials work, by the way? I have no idea how to get my dials to work.

you dont need these files its a bullshit. It's used just to make unbreakable zone around windows frame to make it look better, so you cant shatter wondows completley. Zmod generate these files automaticly with empty values for each crash component. To make them shatter all you need to do is add Crash property on matterials used for breakable surface, add the same property on collision object select all polygons of collision object and asighn surface matterial ID like 120 for glass or 116 for metal. Metal can not brake.

Having not done this before I am having a hard time wrapping my head around it, is there any tutorials that show how to do this? My search results didn't reveal this exact part.

In order to have breakable glass, you need to make sure that your collisions have Crash in the user defined options. You also need to make sure the vehglass material has Crash in the user defined options menu as well.
