Hi! i got some problem to open dlc.prf in my patchday4ng folder. I get this error code: OpenIV - Error occured while opening file

Unable to open archive: Unknown file format or archive is corruped. C:\program files\Rockstar game\grand theft auto v\mods\update\x64\dlcpacks\patchday4ng\dlc.rpf

 

(GTA V is legally bought)

 

Does anyone know the reason?

I can appreciate that English may not be your first language, but the error is clearly stated.

The best option, is to rename the file to something else... e.g "dlc.old.rpf", and then Verify your GTA files. (See Below:)

On STEAM:

1. Load Steam
2. From the Library section, right-click on the game and select Properties from the menu.
3. Select the Local files tab and click the Verify integrity of game cache... button.
4. Steam will verify the game's files - this process may take several minutes.
5. Once the process is completed, the Check Window will automatically exit.

On RETAIL:

• Right-click on the shortcut for GTA V
• Go to Properties
• In the “Target” section, paste your GTA 5 game directory with GTAVLaucher.exe behind it. MAKE SURE TO KEEP ” -verify” AFTER IT!
• In the “Start in” section, paste your GTA 5 game directory WITHOUT GTAVLauncher.exe
• Double-click the shortcut to start verifying your game files!

This can happen if you previously edited the RPF file in OpenIV and did something wrong, or forgot to Rebuild the file before running the game.

Yeh! sorry that my English sucks. Unfortunately what you told me didnt work. So I am still stuck. It is a little strange that all the other patchday folders works just fine. Can it be possiblethat that I may not have bin downloaded all the files in to my mods folder?

if u uninstall and reinstall would that fix it
