Police Radio duplicating/triplicating actions

Featured Replies

Hey guys,

I have a fully working up-to-date GTAV with LSPDFR 0.3 and RPH 0.36 with several basic mods like Police Radio, Traffic Policer, Spikes, Breathalyzer, and Vehicle Search (all latest versions as well).

Everything worked perfectly until yesterday.  Typically, I install mods one at a time and test them one by one.  But, I decided to install 5 different callouts all at once.  These were: Federal Callouts, Crazy Callouts, Agency Callouts, Assorted Callouts, and Wilderness Callouts.  I decided to install them all at once because they are very easy to reverse and don't override existing files.

Anyways, all 5 callouts load and work fine.  But now, occasionally my Police Radio will duplicate or triplicate its functions.  For instance:
- I put 1 barrier > Police Radio will place 3 simultaneously
- I request coroner > 3 coroner vans spawn simultaneously
- I run a plate > 3 results come back from dispatch
- I call a tow truck > 3 trucks spawn

Makes for a fun gameplay for sure!  I was just wondering if anyone else came across this while modding their game.  This doesn't happen 100% of the time, so I can't always replicate the issue.  I might try to remove all the callouts and reinstall testing them one at a time... but as this doesn't happen all the time, maybe that's not an effective approach.  Anyways, thanks for any help.

This happens to me often but not all the time. It's just a bug I assume. Just reload the game and worked fine.

Thanks for the response.  I guess it's nice to know I'm not the only one.  I'll try and research it some more and if I find a solution, I will post back.  Otherwise, I'll just stick to reloading the game.  Thanks again.

Make sure your only loading LSPDFR once. This is not a bug.

Thanks for the help.  I heard someone else say that too... how can you load LSPDFR more than once?  Just trying to see what I could possibly be doing wrong.  This glitch happens at random, but I load the game the same exact way every time.

I had the same issue with traffic policer spawning more than one tow truck.
I quickly discovered that my problem occured only when I went off-duty and then on-duty again, without unloading LSPDFR via the RPH console in between.

So, if your problem happens only after going off and on duty, try unloading and then reloading the LSPDFR plugin before going back on duty.
If not, I can't help you, sorry. But you should try to see what happens to other LSPDFR plugins like Albo1125's Traffic Policer and Arrest Manager, when you try to spawn something. If you get the same error, it's probably because LSPDFR is loaded multiple times. If not, the problem lies within Police Radio and you should post a support request in the comment section on the download page.

OOOOOOOH, I think you nailed it!

Last night, I went off-duty and on-duty 3 times in one session.  So, that makes perfect sense.  I didn't even think about that.  Thanks for your help, I really appreciate it!
