GTA IV PC Clan Tips

Featured Replies

Hey Guys, I had a major question. I and a few friends are thinking about starting a PC modding clan. We had a good leader who works in computer management and he backed down because he is afraid of legal issues and what not. He was afraid we would require a mod to download and then if something went wrong with there computer they would hold US responsible. I was wondering what YOUR opinion is, and what you think are risks that would go along with this clan. We will all be using the same cars and textures. Thank you so much and it would be a great deal of stress off my shoulders if you guys would reply. Thanks

Everything needs more lights.

What sort of modding are we talking about,... GTA Vehicles?

If so, as long as you don't upload any original rockstar files to the web you should be fine. You should put a disclaimer when they join that you cannot be held responsible for any damage caused to their systems by using the mods that you provide and by downloading they agree to these terms. Seriously though, the worst thing that can happen with GTA mods is that they'll have to re-install GTA IV. Just get them to backup any files first.
