sorry to opening this tread.
But me and friends wanted to play LCPDFR for GTA 4 online :)

I also tried it on the Rootserver to link my account with the diagnostic tool. (cause theres no router or firewall)

but i always get an Error 502 Bad Gateway.
also see this in the log file:
InitializeConnection: Error while connecting to master server: The remoteserver gives an error: (404) not found.   bei System.Net.HttpWebRequest.GetResponse()

Are the servers down?

We bought GTA 4 yesterday cause of the mod :)
For GTA V its not multiplayer now. Hope this comes with V:MP.

I don't think you can now.

Ok so what i see is you are the server then and others can connect to each other instead of using the Master Server.
WIll test this now.
Would be always nice if there where some news and instructions then if something changes.
searched the hole forums a lot and only saw some trying to connect to others game via connect command.
Then it makes sense.

I have no idea how the LCPDFR server works, @Cyan probably does.

It's offline and no longer supported. All resources are focused on the website and LSPDFR.

LCPDFR is free software, you shouldn't have had to pay for it, so there should be no expectations of service. If you did pay for it, you were scammed.

I should also mention that playing online together should work over GTA IV's multiplayer, and that our masterserver only allowed additional synchronization for LCPDFR. If you can't play the native GTA IV multiplayer, you should contact Rockstar support.

no bought GTA 4 cause of playing coop with friends until it come maybe to vmp for  GTA V (a dream)

 

but i see when connecting that it tells me im the master server then cause it cant connect to the master server anymore and i should tell others the showing ip adress which can be seen again with net_showIP

thats why i thought its still online playable

Well, LCPDFR's online features were meant to supplement the built-in multiplayer. It was not a multiplayer mod by itself. You should be able to play decently using the default GTA IV multiplayer though. 

Yeah looks good also says your a client connect.


All this works.

Only question is how can we make callouts together or help each other?
I found no informations about that and we tried also to call backup but only npcs can respond and come.

Master Server connect works today nice ^^
WIll have a look what changed :)
