Hello,

I'm new to LCPDFR, and I have played it some. I just want to say it is so awesome! :D

But, there are a few things I want to know about.

First, how do you turn your vehicles siren on? I tried pressing G but I have to hold it down. What button do I press to turn it on?

Second, what button do you press to order a pedestrian to stop? I tried holding down the right mouse button while I'm unarmed, pointing at the person and pressing E, but nothing happens.

Third, I want to know more about ELS and which version is the best to get because I heard that one version is better than another.

Fourth, I want to know if this is a bug or just something random that only happened once. I reported to a domestic disturbance call and I got there and was chasing the suspect when a message came up that said something like, "Error in script" I didnt catch all of it. It just happened once.

And last, how do you take a person to the police station after you arrest them? I tried to do that, but when I got to the police station, I got out and the suspect got out and I started to walk towards the marker to enter the police station, but I looked around and he suddenly disappeared. What happened? Did I do something wrong or was it an error, but I didnt get an error message?

I hope you all can help me out. :)

Edit: I figured the last thing out. They are supposed to disappear once you enter the circle.

1) If you have ELS you can enable lights with J and K. If you use GTA IV's default siren and lights system, press G shortly or use Numpad / for different lightmodes.

2) Don't aim at them, just press E when you're near. The problem with it is, it's Sam's WIP and it often doesn't work.

3) ELSv6 has more features, better AI and more lightmodes, however, ELSv5 has been proven to be more stable.

4) That's a script error. Happens from time to time, you could always hand the log over to a dev.

If your character diappear's you could just hit "CTRL-DELETE" at the same time then if you want to reload the script just hit "~" above the tab button on the left of your keyboard, then type in "reload script's" than press "ENTER", i have to do this quite often, but i never post about it as it's a pretty easy fix :)

Most people set the ELS siren to G and the game siren/horn to H. The ELS siren is generally the siren that's used so you don't have to hold the bottom but can use the game siren (H) to activate the sirens air horn.

If you encounter a bug/glitch that you believe is related to a script that you're running you'll need to reload the scripts. Usually it fixes the issue.

Check your keyboard setup in the settings. Make sure ELS and the game siren aren't using the same key.

My suggestion would be to do what I do for the siren, in your mouse/keyboard options turn your "horn" from default setting to your right mouse button, makes for more realism when running through traffic lights and easier to control....

Have you checked that your default action button is in fact "E", it may not be that for some reason, for example mine is "X" as I have a gaming pad but anyway you should check that.

Hmmmmmm *Strokes Chin.

We have an inveritable pickle in our midst! Does your E button work? Do you have an EB thing cause I find my number buttons don't work well with one enabled? You really have to hammer "E" down to stop them, and I also find that "E" dosen't work well in the latest update, so if so re-download to fix and try really hard, failing all the got all Rambo on their arses!

I know the E key works. But, how do I reinstall it?

Just download LCPDFR again, that fixed mine. Good luck officer, Get on out there!

Ok. I'll give it a shot. I'll tell you what happens.

Edit: I think it worked, but now it keeps freezing at different times.
