OpenIV Not working

Featured Replies

I'm trying to install a vehicle mod but whenever I go into "Edit Mode" nothing changes. I also downloaded a new mod but that didn't work also. Does anyone have any thing to help me?

What do you mean "nothing changes"?

I have the exact same problem when i drag files into Openiv they dont go in, nothing changes instead i have to click the green plus button and add then that way which makes modding lots of cars very time consuming.

You are talking about when you drag and drop in files it doesn't change? If so that is one of my problems too. I have to go in and replace individual files.

Drag and drop may not work if you run OpenIV as Admin.

You can replace several files at once using "Add" button.

Hmmm..I've been running OpenIV as admin maybe I'll try to run without admin.

Wouldnt the "Add" button just adds files instead of replacing it?

It will add files. But, if you already have files with the same name in archive they will be replaced.

I might be an outdated RPF that you´re putting it in. When Rockstar brings out another update they usually take some cars and "patch" them. Its easely fixed by searching through the new RPFs and finding your car in one of the newer RPFs.
