Hey,

so 9/10 either selecting my car after exiting the police station or using the trainer to spawn one, I always get a message saying, 'Error loading vehicle model' I don't know if this happens a lot but is there some way to fix it? Anyone know what's causing it?

This shouldn't happen at all, but when it does, it's most likely an indicator of lacking memory. So try if lowering settings helps, if not you will have to consider upgrading your computer.

I'm not bragging in anyway, but my computer specs are pretty good: Eight core processor, 16bg ram, Asus M5A97, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 570. I don't think I need to worry about updating my computer. I run at an average of 42FPS with ENB + ELS. It only happens with that car aswell, no other.

Yeah, that rig should run IV well. Do you use any vehicle mods or have you changed any other game files?

I only have Police, Police2, NOOSE, Polpatroit modded, however thy're all ELS enabled and demanding cars. I'm just not sure as to why sometimes it loads, and others it won't? (talking about the polpatroit btw)

Well, this confuses me as well. Usually, when there is a problem with a model, the game just crashes. I can only guess, but I'd say that the model is realy high-poly and IV can't handle it properly. I have a GTX 570 myself and can only add a few cars to IV until I run into problems (such as the infamous taxi bug).

So it's only the model, maybe a different one would work? I'll give it a shot. Thanks for all the help so far.

Yup, probably the model. Like with me, I'll use one model, it will work, another, will not, another, will work.

Im am simply a humble user who has no tech support background at all. With that said, I found I was having this problem as well. After doing a bit of searching I found that in the .ini my PreloadAllModels = False. When I changed it to ture, I seem to have no problems spawning any car now. All my cars are ELS and my computer is not the greatest. See what your .ini says. I hope this was helpful.....

firstresponse.ini should be inside your scripts folder. Sorry.. lol that would haved been helpful to tell you that :S Let me know how it goes....

just try and switch vehicle slot's, Bugz' newer 2008 suburban's always have that issue, i just switched them to either fbi or noose
