New PC help

Featured Replies

I bought GTA V download from amazon to play LSPDFR. I hope that I'll be able to, every video I've seen has been from steam. But, that shouldn't make a difference... right?

My problem is my computer can not handle GTA V. Everyone says to build... The issue is I really have no idea what I need or how to build a PC. Can anyone give me some tips? I would like to stay under $600. Better yet if anyone has suggestions on prebuilt that would be great!

Building a PC is much more simple than people make it out to be; however, it's not easy. I would say it would be best to go with a mediocre pre-built and then add components later on down the line once you've got an idea of PC hardware.

I'm afraid I don't know a huge amount of pre-built PC providers in the US, but newegg tends to be a pretty safe bet. Some pretty good entry level kit on there for very acceptable prices.

Building a computer is easy. The hands on putting it together is easy. It is the knowledge about parts and best bang for your buck stuff that is the most difficult. Research is your friend. Read up on stuff. You can buy kits off new egg as well. You put it together yourself. Save some money that way too. Maybe some nice fellow will post here with all the recommendations. I had people help me get the parts for my machine. Its a beast now.

Visit me on youtube. The most common reason for crashing is user error. Make sure you have the latest RAGE, ScripthookV, ScripthookVdotnet and turn off your antivirus. Make sure you have an up to date gameconfig.xml as well. Use Allbo's plugin troubleshooter to find any errors too.

not with graphics card, it only has 1gb VRAM. most if not all games require 2gb VRAM to play on minimum settings.

If you want to me reply as soon as possible, then either quote or @CouthInk4  me as i'll be notified, a general reply will not notify me

I reccomend not going with a prebuilt, as you'll get a way better PC if you buy parts yourself.

And yeah, that PC will barely run GTA 5 at a playable state
