London Subway Attacked by Knife Wielding Syrian Sympathizer

Featured Replies

Yesterday, London police arrested a man on board a subway in London who stabbed three passengers with a large knife. One man was severely injured and hospitalized, the other two victims received only minor injuries. All three victims are expected to live. Prior to attacking, the suspect shouted "This is for Syria!" before flailing away at random people. Passengers pelted the suspects with bottles before police arrived on scene. The suspect lunged at police before being tased multiple times, only letting the knife go upon the final tase. Police were then able to take him into custody. The last few seconds of the resistance against police was captured on cell phone video:

The motive for this incident is being investigated, but it is speculated that it is due to the stepped up bombing efforts by the British against ISIS targets. The last recorded extremist attack in London was back in May of 2013, when an off duty soldier was stabbed to death.

My condolences to the victims. I hope the British people stand in solidarity with France and America, and refuse to be intimidated.

Well, too bad british police officers don't carry 9mm handguns. They should have killed this mother..... instantly.

Okay. Lets fire our handguns at a knife wielding suspect on a subway train. Nothing could possibly go wrong. I'm sure they handled the situation quite fine without firepower. Actually, I believe the transit officers carry machine guns. I'm not sure on that, though.

Well Lundy, don't take my words too serious in this case . Of course they handled the situation very well. I only wanted to express my anger about this idiot. Here's an another video from my hometown. We've got many drug addicts here. And he's one of them. The situation is pretty the same. Maybe more space to handle the situation because it's inside the the main trainstation hall. The guys in the blue uniforms are unarmed German Railway Security Guards. I understand. I just wanted to make clear that situations can be resolved without unnecessary firepower. Something the cops around here need to learn a little.

Well, look. For example. German police officers have to spend 144 weeks of study and training before they're fully cops! That's 3 years. In the USA, it's only 24 weeks, average. Only 6 month. After that they're on their own. What do you expect? Okay, often they patrol the first year with an experienced older officer. But policing in the USA is pretty much residual. Instead of putting lights in every corner of the suqad cars the agencies should invest in better and longer training. That's my 2 cents.

And by the way. I like your LAPD & LASD CVPI PACK very much. Is it possible for you to add a steady burning red light to the vehicles?
