What font does Los Angeles Sheriff's Department use?

Featured Replies

I'm suprised there isn't a topic already on the forum about this but I have been searching here, mod sites, and Google with no results.

Does anyone happen to know what it is?

Thank you in advance!

Wow that is a great picture, i'll try that, thank you!

Make sure only to crop around one piece of the lettering. You'd be best to crop it around the word ANGELES or something.

Often times these are custom stencils done by companies that make vehicle liveries. You may have to attempt to duplicate it with another font that's close, or edit an existing font in Photoshop by turning the individual letters into editable vector layers that you can manipulate with other tools instead of a text box.

Hey! So ik this is now almost a decade after the question, BUT I may have found the answer on Canva or something close to it!

The font I found is called Acuity and it looks like this

Could contain: font, logo, white, graphics, symbol, text, design

More like this if you lower the spacing of the top letters to -82

Could contain: font, text, logo, graphics, white, symbol, design
