Alienware Alpha

Featured Replies

Hey guys,

So I'm looking into getting an Alienware Alpha. Obviously a i5 or an i7 would be ideal, but the i3 would most likely be my purchase if I go this route. I was wondering what experiences you guys have had with LSPDFR on the i3?

Judt for reference, my family moves around a lot and I am currently attending college. I like the size of it and the ease of moving it around. I would probably be doing most gaming on a television, switching off between calls with my brother/friends.

Well, the minimum recommendations for GTA is for a quad core i5, so I'm not too sure it'll be able to handle it.  I'm using an A8 on my laptop and I average about 25 fps with literally everything turned off or lowest settings.  Are you able to build your own PC, because you could build a micro-ATX PC that'll be able to handle it.

Right now, it's not really possible for me to be building unless I want to turn it into a multi month experience. I may now be able to get an i5 or i7 though actually, so I think I'll focus on saving a few more bucks towards one of those.
