My first LSPDFR video! Feedback wanted!

Featured Replies

Hello everyone, My name is CriteriaGamer! I'm new to LSPDFR, I'm really enjoying the mod and the LSPDFR community so far! I just uploaded my very first LSPDFR patrol episode and would love some feedback if you have a few minutes! I'll leave a link here for those of you that are interested: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MrGV2GsJbbc

Thank you all for any feedback I receive and thank you for your time! I hope to perhaps bring my own style of roleplay to the community and hopefully you guys enjoy my content! I would also like to say this is my first post ever on a forum so hopefully I'm doing everything right and I'm posting this in the right place. If I'm not I do apologize and please feel free to correct me on any errors, I want to learn how to use forums!

I enjoyed the first episode and now I'm subscriber 6.960. Only a couple of things I'd like to mention, don't apologize so much for being new to this, it gives people the wrong impression like the video is not worth watching and I'm pretty sure the vast majority of your subscribers probably didn't have a clue this mod existed (stereotyping much? :P). The second thing would be the video length, I really appreciate that you cut your videos to the important bits but make them a little longer (15-20min), but since this was an introduction video, it's fair to be a little bit shorter. The third thing (yeah "a couple" equals three apparently...), try to stick to a certain area(2-3 small neighborhoods) in each episode since patrol cars usually patrol their designated district (check out this map).

What I like about the video: your voice tone :)), some youtubers get on my nerves with their cocky attitude or they mumble the words. And I like that you drive carefully, again some people smash their patrol cars into traffic and then have to repeatedly repair them while recording which looks bad. Get used with your fellow officers to go nuts from time to time and when you see a backup car approaching, get out of the way!

You should probably list the mods you use in the video description so people can recommend you new mods to try. I've made a list of mods I use and that work well together, I still use 0.25 but they should work with newer RHP versions also. link

If you have any trouble installing mods, feel free to message me. :)

Hey, BogdanM!

Thanks for the feedback! I really appreciate you taking the time to help me improve! I'll be sure to implement your recommendations into Episode #2 which will be uploaded Tuesday. I do need to add a few more mods to really balance out the game and make it a bit more realistic/interesting. I'll be adding all the mod links and such into the description as well. I have role-played for a while (2 yearsish) so I try to be as realistic with situations as possible. Anyways, Thank you again!

Episode #2 will be a great experience I have a feeling! :D

Oh, one more thing. If you are going to showcase a new plugin, car mod etc, please know the name of the author. I've just watched two videos from two big time LSPDFR youtubers who couldn't even remember F5544's name 5 seconds into the video, which I find both embarrassing for them and insulting to the author. I mean it's the least they can do if they use other people's work to make money.

P.S. Sorry for using your topic to vent, but I didn't want to point fingers and post on their youtube video since it would only cause a shitstorm and that's not the point.
