Hey Guys n Girls,

I have installed and had my first few hours on LCPDFR and think it's amazing!

I do need soem advise though :S

1.) Is there a way to stop the camera spiing around and have it mounted behind the car/character only?

2.) Where can I get some additional vehicles from? Particuarly British ones :D

3.) How can I get a hand gun? At the moment I only have a Taser, Baseball Bat and Shotgun.

Also, sorry to be a pain, is there any reason as to why some of the keys are not working? Or do they not activate when they cant be used? This could just be me having no idea what I am doing.

Hmm :) i usually get a handgun as soon as i pop into a Police cruiser :) Should be in the Police Station tho? Somewhere? hmm..

Your a star, a re start seems to have fixed the keys issue, hoever, I have found another...

Everytime I respond to anyhting, I have no option to arrest, only frisk or hold. Only if my partner kills them do I pass the mission, any ideas?

Point with the gun at the suspect and press E.

Final question, I have downloaded a couple of cars, anyone know a tutorial for installing them to the game?

I have followed one and the car went in fine but there were no textures on it at all.

Then you have missed one of the files :) You need both WTF and WTD files info the vehicles.img file :) Sometimes SPARKIV crashes for some reason, and you need to do it one more time. :)

Sorted, got the textures but now there is no blue lights :S

I have just downloaded and installed ELS V6 however, cant get the blue lights to work, its strange, I can see a small portaion of the light bar lit up but there no flashing :(

Thats because you need a mod called ELS V5 or V6 :) V5 is the most stable. You have installed a ELS enabled vehicle, with new lightbars :) To use the default game lightbar you need to

download vehicles that are NON-els :)

Would ELS need to have been installed before installing the vehicles?

In ELS you have to change it if you're talking about reflections. Ex:

[ POLICE ]

Active = 1

Halogen_Only = 0

Color_Light1L = 0

Color_Light2L = 0

Color_Light3R = 1

Color_Light4R = 1

Color_Light7L = 3

Color_Light8C = 3

Color_Light9R = 3

Offst_SLights = 2

No, you have to press H to turn on the lights. Or press Alt+T and when you now press G the lights will also go on.

Neither worked, any other ideas?

Do you have trainer, if so you need to disable keys to make it work >Options>Disable keys.

All sorted, not sure how I sorted it but I did :S

Does anyone have a list of incidents that you can end up getting sent to? I have seena few youtube clips about car accidents but not been sent to any? Or are they mocked up?
