Police stations?
 
Well, I know one really cool "station" that could use some love. Of course, I mean the FIB building in Pillbox Hill.  It would be really cool if LCPDFR 0.4 will have it's outer/inner doors unlocked... Add some FIB agents inside, reactivate the elevator, place 'Go on duty' and 'Garage menu' triggers for people who love to play as feds.

I have never seen one of these end in anything other than a shoot-out. That's pretty interesting.
 
I find it nice that you don't get busted unless you actually stand still and "give up", unlike in IV. I spend a good few minutes jumping and ragdolling into a group of deputies as Trevor, and was surprised that knocking the first one down didn't make them all shoot immediately.
 
There are a lot of times when the police in 4 manage to place you when they shouldn't have been able to. Some solid geometry and objects allowed line-of-sight, and the AI even attempt, and are able, to shoot through some buildings sometimes.
 
It is disappointing that the cops aren't a little less trigger-happy when you're not being an immediate threat, but I'll give chalk it up to the LSPD being an extreme parody of the LAPD.

I think you can do it without SparkIV but it would be harder than using SparkIV.

ELS V6 adds that, as does DAS which is designed for multiplayer games.

DAS is a mod for multiplayer games only. It assigns unit numbers for each player in the game, you have a display which tells you where other units are and also allows you to request backup from other players, or tell them you are responding.

For example, when you press ALT+Page Down - all other players receive a message saying "UNIT T-38 Requesting backup on XXXX street."
Then other units will press ALT+Page Up - You will receive a message saying "P-31 - Responding."
