I don't know if anyone has ever thought of this, but I'm just throwing it out there as a possible idea. I thought of this as my current gaming setup consists of an Xbox One controller plugged into my laptop, and balancing a keyboard and mouse on my lap for handling callouts and things like that. 

I'm wondering if anyone has considered making LSPDFR and other callout mods and GTA V itself work with an Xbox 360/One controller and the Xbox Chatpad. If you don't know what I'm talking about its basically a full QWERTY keyboard attachment for the controller, including all the usual English characters like periods, commas, ect. It even has a backlight for gaming in the dark.

So that's basically it. Not a request, more of a question. Would it be possible?

I am not sure actually, it might work with Xpadder (third party program for controllers).

Sorry to don't understand you carefully .... I think you can use xbox controllers (xbox pad) like ineseri said I think it might work

i have an xbox360 gamepad + chatpad....

GTAV doesn't recognize the chatpad (it happens only with gta)....didn't try with Xpadder.

It works out of the box with x1 controller? Did you need to install any 3d party driver to get it work? You are still able to use xinput api?

Get chatpad and x360 gamepad to work is a pain in the ass....and you can't use xinput api anymore.

 

And about the chatpad....you know if 360 chatpad is compatible with x1 controller?

The 3rd party chat-pad is like a regular wireless keyboard. Its basically just made to fit the Xbox one controller, the chat-pad is powered by the Xbox one controller.
