Converting cars from ELS 7 to ELS 8 for personal use

Featured Replies

I have a few packs i really like but are for els 7. Is there a way to convert them to ELS 8. Itd be for personal use i would NOT be putting them out to the public them

There's no Conversion needed.

Simply Install ELS V8 (removing the Older Version), tweak the Main Files, and you are good to go. I use a few Vehicles designed for ELS V5 myself.

What do you mean by "tweak the main files" what would i need to change?

You'll have to change the ELS configuration files as ELS V8 uses different settings than ELS V7. You can read all about this change and how to convert between the two in the user manual included in ELS V8.

I looked and dont see anything on how to do this? Could you tell me what section this is in?
