Game Crash

For the last few days my GTA V crashes whilst loading, i can click on Story Mode just as it gets to end it crashes, This is using RPH and using WITHOUT. I have read someone else had similar problems and his issue was with PoliceRadio, so i tried that and its still happening, im at a loss now. Any help on a fix would be greatly appreciated, I would upload both RPH and launcher logs but it won't let me, it says i can upload 97mb :/

Judging from what you're saying (would have been better if you included the RAGE.log) I believe your issue is an outdated RPH. GTA V updated the other day and broke a lot of the script mods. You are going to need to update your GTA V folder with the new ragehookplugin (and alexander blade's scripthook if you use it)

That should fix your issues. PoliceRadio and your other LSPDFR mods should work fine afterwards for the most part. If it does not please give us a detailed description of what is happening, and include your RPH log(copy and paste it into a spoiler tag). Also, try basic troubleshooting steps, such as taking ALL your plugins and scripts out of your GTA V folder and just try and run vanilla lspdfr w/ RAGE.

EDIT: Sorry, I read your post wrong. It is crashing even without using RPH? Does the game run vanilla if you take out all mods?

I have the latest RPH, downloaded it this afternoon, (the one which was released today) I would include my RPH log but for some reason its over 500mb no idea why. Also it can't RPH as when i use playgtav, it does exactly the same thing

I am having the same problem. I have re downloaded GTAV and that helps at first. Make sure you create a backup GTAV folder to install easier and a folder with anything else you need like mods separated in their own category. Sometimes I can get to the story mode button, and other times, I cant without a message popping up saying the game has crashed. Hope this helped. I will keep you up to date with anything else I find.

Ok this worked for me, replace the update.rpf file in your mods folder with your new update.rpf.

you'll have to reinstall your mods tho

Glad you got it figured out, but you could have figured it out had you actually taken mods out of your GTA directory like stated above! Have a good day :)

it's actually just the openiv.asi file that loads mods from update.rpf. so when it loads the mods it attempts to make them work with the game, due to the diffirences in versions too much is diffirent in tje mods and new update.rpf so the game gets confused and just terminates itself

I think in this case it had more to do with the asi loaders loading your mods folder than RAGE related mods. Even though RAGE stuff doesnt work online or affect launching regular GTA, asi loaders do (think trainers, etc) 

It must be certain cases anyway, since i had a mods folder as well with custom vehicles pre-update and they still work fine.

ok in your main gta folder go into the folder called updates. Copy the update.rpf file into your mods/update folder and overwrite  the  existing  update.rpf file in there. NOTE. Any mods you had installed in your previous update.rpf file will be lost so you will have to reinstalle them
