I somehow managed to fix my RPH Crash

Featured Replies

So i was experiencing the same crashes as everyone else with RPH.  At first i was going to reset my entire game, but instead i decide "Hey let me take out the mods folder for a bit" so i moved my mods folder to my desktop and i decided to run the game.  It worked!  The only problem with that is i had to install texture and sound mods directly to my update.rpf, which is not recommended, so just make a back of it.  If anyone gets it to work like that let me know!!  Thanks.

Also just remove all the "Load Plugin" stuff from your startup.rphs and restart the game, then when you get in press F4 and manually load in all the plugins.  Also i had a bit of trouble getting non verified plugins to work.  When you first install RPH the enable verification thing is checked, i personally have unchecked it, but if you don't want to then you don't have.  The only downside is that plugin wont work.  You can enable an unverified plugin in game but i had a hard time using the mouse to select the check box.

This Can Help You

Just don't insult or demeaned big or small efforts because i know that you can't do it so calm down and just watch their awesome work

Respect Efforts

Negative. Did you buy through steam?

One of the first things I did was remove all the mods from my plugins folder, and remove my mods folder (custom vehicles). i tried taking out my startup.rphs (new rage update doesn't even include it). Reinstalled RAGE removing all plugins from starting with it.

I've tried removing anything associated with code 3 callouts (heard someone saying it was causing crashes)

My frameworks all updated, using windows 7.

Im out of options, just waiting on a fix at this point. Is it against site policy for someone to upload the 'Gamebackups.rph' so people (like me) who didn't backup or wrote over their old backup files?

Mhm

I'm having the same problems i removed all the additional mods i added into the game that did not come with LSPDFR and still crashing mid way load screen into story mode.

If any one has a solution it would be appreciated!

Thank you.

I also went to google and downloaded a asi loader, which comes with scripthook, but i thought maybe it would make a difference.  Try going to google and typing "asi loader " without quotes.  and click the first link and download it and put in in the root gta v folder, download ragehook again and run it.  I had to reinstall Rage hook like ten times until it worked.

i ended up downloading ragehook 0.25 and the game launches perfect but LSPDFR will not work the plugin will not launch, i attempted to load it manually and it said that the file does not exist.

Make sure you installed lspdfr correctly, you should have an lspdfr folder in your main gtav directory and check in your plugins folder make sure you have a folder that also says lspdfr and there should be something called LSPD First Response.dll

in game all you have to do is F4 and type "LoadPlugin LSPD First Response.dll"
